The silicone coating (260°C) is waterproof and hence easy to clean.
The high temperature version on the other hand withstands double as high tempertures (550°C).
These tempertures refer to the surface of the grill. The cooking chamber has a much higher.
The wind protection version is closed on both sides, keeping the heat inside.
Before mounting the insulation, you need to unscrew the thermometer. Pull the insulation over the hood and punch a hole where the thermometer fits with a screwdriver. Then re-mount the thermometer.
