Sealing
Heat Protection fabrics as strips or cords are also in use as sealing. Fibre cords are often used in chimneys as ceramics replacement. The cord sealings and flat sealings will become brittle and come off the chimney over the years. The replacement is a good idea to keep the gases in the chimney and the warm air in the living room.
Also industrial furnaces are a field of application for our high temperature fabrics as sealings.
Sealings can be permanently glued to the chimney with oven adhesive.
