Cancellation Policy

Right of revocation for consumers

Customers are entitled to a right of revocation as follows, whereby a customer is a consumer, who orders goods which cannot be attributed to a business use.
This text is available in English and German versions. In the event of any discrepancies between this cancellation policy in the English and/or German languages, the German text shall prevail.

You may withdraw your contractual acceptance within 14 days in writing (e.g. by letter, fax or e-mail) without stating reasons; or, if the item reaches you before the expiry of this period, by returning it. The time limit begins after receipt of this notification in writing, but not before receipt of the last goods by the recipient or a third person named by you which is not the hauler (in the case of recurring deliveries of similar goods, not before receipt of the first partial delivery)  and also not before our obligations to inform under Article 246 § 2 in connection with § 1 (1) and (2) of the EGBGB (Introductory Act to the German Civil Code) as well as our obligations in accordance with §312e (1)(1) of the BGB (German Civil Code) in conjunction with Article 246 §3 of the EGBGB are fulfilled. Timely dispatch of the cancellation or of the item suffices to comply with the notice period. The cancellation is to be directed to: TECHNO – Gewebe Vajen GmbH, CEOs Colin Vajen, Dieter Vajen, Neue Straße 1, 27404 Elsdorf – Hatzte, Tel.: 04286/7704851, Fax: 04286/720, Email: info@glasgewebeband.eu with a clear declaration of intention (for example a letter, a fax or an E-Mail) to inform about the revoke the contract. You can use the attached form for revocation, but you don't have to. You can fill out the revocation form or another clear intention on our website www.glasgewebeband.eu electronically and pass it on. When you choose this form of revocation we will immediately pass you a confirmation of reception of revocation for example via E-Mail. To keep the term it is sufficient to inform us about your exertion of revocation within the term. This does not apply for products, that have been manufactured specifically for you. This means grill insulationsnad other textile insulations. You may however return for example glass fabric tape.

Consequences of cancellation

After an effective cancellation of contract we will have to refund all payments received from you including the costs of delivery (with exception of all costs that arise from another form of delivery that deviates from the standard delivery with the most reasonable price), instantaneously and within at least 14 days starting with the day in which we received the cancellation of the contract. For this repayment we will use the same method of payment that has been used in the initial transaction unless otherwise agreed with you, but there is no case in which we would charge you for a transaction. We can and will withhold the payment until we receive the goods or receive a proof of a delivery towards us depending on what arrives earlier. In any case you will have to send back the products within 14 days beginning  with the day on which you inform us about the revocation of contract to TECHNO – Gewebe Vajen GmbH, CEO Dieter Vajen, Neue Straße 1, 27404 Elsdorf – Hatzte. The term is kept when you dispatch the products within 14 days. You will bear the costs of redispatchment. In the case of returned items, this does apply if a possible damage can be proven to have been caused when inspecting the goods, as would be done in a shop. You can, moreover, avoid the obligation to pay compensation for deterioration arising from regular use by not using the items as your own property and refraining from all actions that could reduce its value. Items capable of being sent by parcel are to be returned at our risk.
